ReCreo aims to safeguard the memory of the past in rural areas, the soul and identity of abandoned places, not to expose them to the ravages of time and revive them in a new way.
Each single story can contribute to building a collective memory.
Why to collect the stories?
How many times, in front of the silence of an empty house, the scrub that invades the olive groves, the terraces that collapse with every rain, we ask ourselves: who knows what it was like? How did disused things appear today, what were the lives that took place there?
We want to give voice to forgotten places. Remember their history, which is also ours.
